As we finish up our last day of service, there are plenty of emotions running through our brains. After 21 years of hosting Cooking Matters, working together with chefs from all over Boston, and raising more than $250,000 for No Kid Hungry, Monday was our last ever benefit dinner with Share Our Strength. We could not have participated in these events over the years if it wasn't for chefs like Josh Ziskin (who has participated every year), the dedication and hard work of our staff, and of course, the unbelievable hospitality provided by Andy O. C. Husbands. In the restaurant community, it's what we do, and we are privileged to have been apart of it.
